In response to a mum’s enquiry about the best flower essence for bed-wetting for her 7-year-old daughter, who still wears a pull-up at night, the mother wanted to know if we’ve had good results with this issue.
Here’s my response to her letter with a suggestion and some information:
Thank you for writing and for working holistically with your daughter. Over 5 million children, with twice as many boys as girls—wet the bed occasionally. So this is a common issue for kids, with a strong genetic component. The “textbook” flower essence for this issue is Cherry, which would be an accurate assessment about 80% of the time, and I think this flower essence applies for your daughter.
Cherry is for cheerfulness, and equally for being even-minded. Bed-wetting can be an embarrassing and distressing problem for a child, and this essence, prepared from the delicate blossoms of cherry trees, contains properties for remaining impersonal and detached from life’s ups and downs. A nice essence for parents and child to take!
See if you feel to give this a try, and write back when you get a chance.
In perfect well-being,
