What are Spirit-in-Nature
Essences?
Flower essences stimulate our positive qualities. Spirit-in-Nature Essences—20 in all—are prepared from organic fruit
trees and vegetable plants. Foods heal us nutritionally. In
the concentrated form of flower essences, they also help us
to develop elevating qualities, such as calmness, kindheartedness,
and joy.
Prepared by a simple method using sunlight, pure spring water, and the blossoms themselves, these flower essences have been assisting individuals and health care professionals since 1977, making them one of the oldest flower essence lines in the world today. Initially interpreted by a world renowned metaphysical teacher, Paramhansa Yogananda, Spirit-in-Nature Essences have been extensively researched and backed by over 3 decades of case studies and testimonials.
The highest quality of service and products are hallmarks of the Spirit-in-Nature Essences. We are dedicated to research, education, and certified programs, says founder Lila Devi, and to supporting and developing the reputable integrity of flower essences worldwide.
I am a practitioner.
Do I get a product discount?
Yes: 10% off on the Practitioner Kit (full 1/2-oz. set
of all 20 Spirit-in-Nature Essences in 2 glossy blue cardboard
boxes, ideal for travel and storage), and the Professional Set (same as above in the 1-oz. size).
I have a brandy sensitivity.
Please advise me on how to take the essences.
This question arises for many people. Not to worry: topical
applications of flower essences are many and varied, and equally
effective for children, and those with allergies or alcohol
sensitivity. Essences may be rubbed into the wrists, or on
any part of the body, much like perfume; they may be added
to water in a plant sprayer or misting bottle to spray a room,
bedding, or clothing; or they may be combined with oils, lotions,
or bath water. You may also add your dosage to a hot beverage,
similar to a homeopathic remedy, which will then steam away
the brandy, leaving the essence intact.
Aren't flower essences
the same as aromatherapy and/or homeopathy?
No! People tend to easily confuse them, though, because
they are all forms of vibrational therapy, in which a minute
amount of a potentized substance produces powerful, dramatic,
and oftentimes immediate, results. The similarity, however,
ends there. Flower essences are not scented, nor do they possess
any specific taste other than the brandy in which they are
preserved. And unlike homeopathy, which works with the
law of similars (give a minute amount of the poison
to heal the poison), flower essences deal with opposites:
administer, through an essence, a small amount of the positive,
desirable quality from nature to heal the corresponding negative
psychological state, i.e., moodiness, restlessness, or despair.
When can I expect to
see results?
Combining essences, within a month: taking 1 at a time,
within 3 days. And in the case of the latter, people will
often report an instant sense of the beginning of a transformation
in their energy, even if they cant always articulate
it.
How do I know when to
start, and then discontinue, an essence?
These answers significantly depend upon the individual
and the unique situation at the time. Emergency situations,
for example, require that flower essences be applied more
frequently than in ongoing situations or chronic personality
issues. For more specific answers, I refer you to my first book,
The Essential Flower Essence Handbook.
I am not sure whether
to enroll in the Home
Study Course or to come for a seminar.
What are the benefits of each?
Both are excellent ways to learn about Spirit-in-Nature
Essences and provide frameworthy certification. Beyond that,
its a bit like comparing apples to oranges: Different
yet complementary, both approaches have proven very useful
and practical to novices and seasoned practitioners alike.
You may want to ask yourself these questions: which suits
your schedule betterthe adventure of traveling to a
seminar, or the convenience of a home study course? How do
you best learn course materialin a class dynamic with
other like-minded individuals, or through a more reflective, though very interactive,
exam approach?
Reports from students around the world confirm that the Home Study Course deepens their ability to understand, and pragmatically work with, flower essences. Advantages of the tri-level Home Study Course and the bi-level Pets and Animals Course are as follows:
- You may study at home, at your own pace.
- The essay questions are designed to educate, challenge, and inspire.
- They provide an opportunity to creatively make these flower essences your own; to integrate and assimilate the course material in accordance with your own unique chemistry as a practitioner.
The seminars provide the following benefits: expediency, for those who dont have the time (or the patience!) for a lengthier home-study course. These workshops also afford the opportunity to study directly with Lila Devi, the founder of Spirit-in-Nature Essences, plus the experience of learning and sharing in a group dynamic with other healers and health care practitioners. (Please note: No seminars are currently scheduled for 2007.)
Can I take the Home Study Course and the seminars as well?
Many people do. To continue the apples-versus-oranges
metaphor: because the dynamics of the Home Study Course
and the Seminars are so different, they actually enhance,
rather than duplicate, each other.
